Activities in Dalyan

Dalyan has a lot to offer. Both on the passive side and on the active side. To give you an impression, we have listed a number of options. These will be adjusted regularly. You may also be able to tell us about a nice activity that you discovered during your stay and that is not mentioned on the site. This way we can inform other visitors.

Iztuzu beach

Iztuzu beach

Iztuzu beach, also called turtle beach, is a 4.5 km long beach that forms a natural barrier between the fresh water of the country and the salt water of the Mediterranean Sea. It is also a protected nature reserve because this beach is also used as a breeding ground for the loggerhead sea turtle, a turtle that is on the list of endangered animals. Partly because of this, the beach is closed to the public after 8 p.m. But this is also partly why the beach has not become a commercial location. At the end of the beach there is a turtle hospital, where sick turtles are cared for until they are strong enough to be released.

Hammam / Turkish bath

Hammam / Turkish bath

Within walking distance of the B&B there are several original Hamams / Turkish baths, of which the steam baths are also heated in the original way with boilers fired by their own wood. The Hamams are primarily intended for ritual cleansing, but have also clearly become a moment of relaxation. You can also pamper yourself with the range of different massages on offer.
